Last Week of the Term!!!

We are on the home stretch and the first term will be over on the 28th. Speaking of the 28th, we will be having a "parade". Don't fret over "storybook" character costuming, just bring your Halloween costume to wear...

There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 29.

STORYTELLING: The assignment has been given for EACH 6th grade student to put together a story to tell. They have had a demonstration on the right way to do this. They need to choose a story, try not to go with a fairy tale or tall tale, get the bones of the story and then add their personal details into the story. It may not be over 3 mins. long.

INVENTION: DUE NOVEMBER 5th. Each student is to come up with an invention that will "solve the world's problems". (Then they can support you forever!) We have brainstormed, been given examples, and they are to either build it or make a poster illustration with a name, directions, what it will do for you, and be clever and catchy! Have fun with it!!!

A letter will come home next week telling you when and how to sign up for parent-teacher conf.

Have a great weekend!
